kickBall… Beer kegs… Boating… Bathroom…
WOW what a weekend Im still tuckered out and I slept till 10 today. The craziness started out with the 2008 Morisville parks and recreation adult kickball tournament. Unfortunately this was our last kickball game of the season because we were eliminated in the first game. Oh well, we were not that upset because we had two kegs iced down for a victory party at my house!! KEG PARTY….
where the hell did that come form you ask? Well it turned out that there was a party at work Friday afternoon and there were two half kegs left over. I asked the lady who organized the party what was going to happen with the leftovers? “Well Im taking the BBQ, hes taking the baked beans and coleslaw…..” Of course my response was, “no who’s taking the beer?” She looked around and said, “as long as there back by Monday, I don’t care who takes them.” Done… OJ was there with the truck in 15 minuets.
I didn’t get too blasted Friday night and was up around 11AM on Saturday getting the boat ready. We were on the lake around 1 o’clock. It turned out to be a great day of wake boarding, watersking, and general lakeing. Shaun and the Caterpillar guys had a pontoon boat and a large group of people there too. I ended up with a reverse wife beater burn…. never put suntan lotion on before you take off the beater….
The marathon weekend ended Sunday working on the bathroom all afternoon till around 7:30. We got a lot of tiling done, a good part actually. I might finish this bathroom just yet. One or two good weekends and watch out…..
All in all it turned out to be a very productive weekend. I don’t know how Iam still standing. Next weekend I may head to visit Robbie in FL. We’ll see if I can get all my work stuff done and take Friday off.
