Last weekend I headed to the Dunn-Benson Dragstrip to help Sandy in the TopDawg race. Even thought Sandy didn’t take home a big check it was still a lot of fun. Brian, Amanda, and Debbie were on hand to help cheer on as well. An added bonus was that Dean was up from Wilmington and raced his cherry 67 camaro. He did very well, but borke out in the championship run.
Last weekend was the official start of summer and I made a weekend out of it. Friday night was the summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. To celebrate we headed to the lake after work to take full advantage of the extra sunlight. We had an outstanding time and water skied until dusk, around 9:30. After the lake Scott and I meet Fred and OD for drinks at the blue marlin. We then caped off the evening with light night at Caroline’s.
Saturday MB scored some VIP tickets to the Toby Keith concert….

This Saturday we headed to the lake, we had the whole Hibbets clan onboard including Z. Shea also joined the crew for a nice afternoon on the water. Jason shot some good video of me waking boarding.
WOW what a weekend Im still tuckered out and I slept till 10 today. The craziness started out with the 2008 Morisville parks and recreation adult kickball tournament. Unfortunately this was our last kickball game of the season because we were eliminated in the first game. Oh well, we were not that upset because we had two kegs iced down for a victory party at my house!! KEG PARTY….
Last weekend, which happens to be the last weekend in May, I headed down to Mooresville NC the racing capital of the world for a weekend of IHRA Drag racing. I rode down with Sandy in the big rig which was pretty cool, something about having a bathroom in the cab makes the ride alot easier. I had a great time and got to hang out with some good people, not to mention all those horses. Shout out to Brittany who made the trip up to come check us out at the racetrack +2 cool points to you. I dident take too many pictures however I hope to post some soon.
It’s a little late however, I wanted to post about our Memorial day weekend boat trip. We finally made the run down teh Cape Fear River from Castle Haynes to Wrightsville Beach. This is a trip I have wanted to do for some time and it was a lot better than I had ever hoped. I want to give a shout out to my courageous crew; Scott, Robbie, and Caroline.
I finally got around to bringing the site backup. I know that there is not much to see here currently, however here in the near future it will hopefully be back up to its former glory.
